For me, the only thing that feels better than discovering a record is putting it on a tape for someone I know will appreciate it. There’s a reason for that banner up there, and there’s a reason for every tape; it’s a small gift, but an inherently sincere gesture. Each one is meant for someone to hopefully hold on to – to evoke the time, place and person who receives it as much while allowing me to give away a piece of myself. The real emphasis is on i made you. Thanks for the notebook.
